An independent monitor.
Hantavirus.ai is an independent, public-information platform tracking hantavirus outbreaks worldwide. We are not affiliated with any government agency, hospital, or official health authority.
What we do
We aggregate publicly available reports from the World Health Organization, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Africa CDC, regional health agencies, and peer-reviewed sources. We make that information searchable, mappable, and subscribable.
Every outbreak update on the site is published with its original source attached so you can verify, dig deeper, and form your own view.
What we are not
- We are not a medical authority. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
- We are not affiliated with the WHO, CDC, Africa CDC, or any government agency.
- We do not diagnose, treat, or recommend treatment for any illness.
- We do not collect personally identifying outbreak data — only aggregate public reports.
Editorial approach
We label every update with a confidence level (low / medium / high) reflecting how well-corroborated the source is. Items derived from official agency releases are tagged high; items from preliminary press reports are tagged lower until corroborated.
Where seed/demo data is shown — for example before live data has been published in a region — we mark it explicitly with a "Demo" badge.
