What you're signing up for

By providing your mobile number and ticking the SMS consent box on your dashboard, you agree to receive automated text messages from Hantavirus.ai about hantavirus outbreaks that match your saved preferences (countries and severity threshold).

Frequency

Message frequency varies based on outbreak activity and the filters you've set. You may receive zero messages during quiet periods and several messages during an active outbreak.

Cost

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We do not charge you for the messages we send.

How to stop messages

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After opting out, you'll receive a single confirmation message and we will not send further alerts to that number unless you opt back in.

You can also disable SMS alerts from your dashboard at any time.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message and you'll receive a short auto-response with a link to the Help section of this site. For human support, use the contact form.

Carrier liability

Carriers (your mobile network provider) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is best-effort and depends on factors outside our control.

Privacy

We use Twilio to send SMS alerts. Your number is stored in our database and processed by Twilio for delivery. We do not share your number with third-party advertisers.
